Hi.  I've used WS for DOS from the early 80s.  I had modified it to work exactly as I needed.  Its worked in the dos compatibility box until and including Vista.  However W7 says it i8s incompatible with 64 bit operating systems.  Has anyone any experience with this?  I may finally be forced (unwillingly) to upgrade.  Any help (even telling me its hopeless) would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have WS and WSWin running using DOSBox on Win 7 64 bit.  Because of the lack of 8 and 16 bit support one has to use a 32 bit virtual machine such as DOSBox.

I have been running WS Win on Win XP, 32 bit, for years successfully.  Now I am about to get a new laptop with Win 7, 64 bit and would like assurance that WS Win will run on it.

Hi Matt!

Use of an emulator is essential for WSWin to run under Win7 64 bit.  I use DOSBox running Win3x and with WSWin2 as the shell.  Others would suggest the VirtualBox (I think that is the name of the program which comes with Win7) running WinXP.
