Outlook 2007 and Wordstar commands for Email

I recently upgraded to MS Office 2007 from 2003.  Installing wordstar.dot into the startup directory worked in getting Word 2007 to accept WS commands.  But Outlook 2007 does not seem to have any provision for using Word as its word processing engine and I don't know how to get wordstar commands available for the new Outlook.  Outlook 2003 had this provision and I could use WS commands with email for 2003.  Can the new version of Outlook be configured to use Wordstar commands?
THanks,
Jim G

Hi Jim,

Outlook 2007 uses a version of Word 2007 as its editor, however, it doesn't use the full version even if you have it installed and so doesn'r support any installed Word 2007 add-ins. The only solution would be to write a completely new com add-in for Outlook 2007. The only option currently available is to retain Outlook 2003.
