I have a large document I am typing and have been told to break it up into separate files.  I have to get the page numbers to be continuous from file to file.  For example:  File 1 ends with page 100.  File 2 starts with 101.

What commands can I use in the file to get that to happen?

Thank you.

On a seperate line at the start of file two, start the line with the dot command:

.pn 101

This should start the page numbering from 101. You'll need to update this manually if the start page numbers change.
