AVG AV Conflict with WS2000

I was using the AVG AV program.  It has in the past false-alarmed on WS2.EXE of WS2000.  Later versions had this dealt with.  I just updated last night, and the problem is back.

The big problem is that when the AVG AV "identifies" a program as containing a virus, there are no option to flag it as actually good or to run the supposedly-infected program anyway.  Consequently, I could no longer use WordStar with AVG on my system.  Considering how much I use WordStar, this amounts to a denial-of-service attack.

I have sent AVG three E-mails about this over the past several months.

It was not WordStar that got removed from my system.

Sincerely,

Gene Wirchenko
