Title: Merge Printing a file, WHY after a Page Break is there a space in the header
Post by: WordstarUser on July 17, 2012, 05:00:48 AM
Merge Printing a file, WHY after a Page Break is there a space between the 1st line of the header and the second line of the header.  On pages where I haven't put a page break, things work great.  It has taken me hours, days, months, years to finally figure out that the page break (cntl L) is causing the space between the 1st line of the header and the second line of the header on the next page.  Is there a toggle to make this not happen, or something I can do to make this space in the header go away.  Don't need and bad words, I've tried them all, and none work.  PLEASE, I repeat PLEASE HELP.  Thanks

Are you actually inserting a ^L command (by entering ^PL when typing)?  If so, don't do that; instead, use the dot command .PA to force a page break.
