Title: WORDSTAR TO APPLE MACS - HELP!
Post by: marti on August 04, 2007, 02:00:26 AM
I've a number of wordstar files - I think version 4 or 5. I am running a MAC G4 under OSX 10.4 TIGER. I run Apple Textedit, Microsoft Word 2004 for Apples and Apple's own word processing system PAGES. I want to convert the files ideally to RTF format so that I can read them again.

Any advice gratefully received.

Hi Martin,

If you have a DOS emulator installed on your Mac you could download and use WS-CON. Details here (http://www.wordstar.org/wordstar/pages/convert_faq.htm#Q16).

If you don't have a DOS emulator you could try installing DOSBox. The download site is here (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1).
