Title: Y2K
Post by: Matt_B on March 26, 2004, 01:12:12 AM
I am brand new to the forum but will ask an old question.  Did anyone find a patch for WS Win 2.0 to fix the date after Y2K?  I started with WS DOS in 1985 and have been using WS Win 2.0 for the past 10 years.  Love it and it works like a dream under Win 2000 except when I insert a date it inserts 1904.  Small problem but I would love to fix it if possible.

I found this forum through Google for I could not install WSWin 2.0 after I had upgraded from Win 98SE to Win 2000.  One of you fellows suggested copying the whole WSWin folder from my saved folder into the identically named folder and with very little adjustment, it worked like a dream.  I assume that I may be able to do the same thing if I ever upgrade to Win XP.

Thanks for letting me join your group.
